December 2011

Our month started out with a bang!!!! On the 3rd Aiden was baptized. We are all so proud of him. He looked so handsome in his suit and was so excited for the day. Unfortunately Boston decided to have the flu that day and was throwing up on our way out the door to the church. This is the only picture I have of that day which is a little sad but I will never forget the amazing spirit that filled the room as Aiden was brought out of the water. I am so lucky to has such an amazing young man for a son.

This last weekend we decided to do a fun family project and put together a ginger bread house. The kids minus Aiden who was a little under the weather all helped with the creative process. Some of them... I'm not naming who(Ben) was trying to eat the house. We had such a great time building traditions and spending time together.

Things that I am Thankful for...

The thing that I am most thankful for is my wonderful husband and my beautiful children, with out them my life would not be very exciting. They bring so much laughter and joy into our home everyday. I am also thankful that I am blessed with the opportunity to be a stay at home mom and watch my kids learn and grow. I'm thankful for my mom and all the sacrifice and hard work she put into raising 3 kids, you did a great job LOVE YOU MOM!!! Also I am thankful for a roof over my head and food in the fridge although sometimes it appears empty we always have
what we need. Im thankful for wonderful sisters and cousin who do Zumba with me every week in the attempt to get into shape. We may laugh more than we exercise but it always makes for a fun evening. Im thankful for my DVR so I dont have to watch anymore stinking commercials. :)
Im thankful for a pre teen and all of her cute little friends who are such good examples too her. Im thankful for the wonderful Functional Skills teachers who help my Aiden every day... and who love him while he is away from home. I am so thankful for the time each night that me and Ryleigh get to practice reading together I cherish those moments. I am thankful for Boston and Carter for their cute love hate relationship and hope as they get older they will be best buddies as well as cousins. And last but definitely not least I am thankful to my Savior Jesus Christ because without him I would not have the chance to be thankful for all of
these things. I'm thankful to belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints and all of the blessings I receive each day. I hope we all think about the things we are most Thankful for... Happy Thanksgiving everybody.

SUMMER VACATION 2011

This summer we were so lucky to be able to go to San Diego for our family vacation and it was so much fun. We spent 7 days in San Diego and enjoyed soaking up the sun and the beach... We also went to Sea World a few days during our stay which is also a favorite of ours. We visited with family while we were there and did some shopping. We even got to go taste some delicious sea food. Thanks Aunt Julie!!! On the way home we stayed a night in Vegas to break up the drive. Thank Heavens for that cuz I really dont think I could have spent another 6 hours in the car:) We got to spend Fathers Day in Vegas and took the kids to M&M world and Coke world. We had such a wonderful time it was really sad to finally have to come home. However I was really happy to sleep in my own bed and not be in a hotel with the whole FAM and do privacy. Cant wait till I get to start planning our next vacation...

4th Grade Utah Program

The 4th Graders put on a program about the history of Utah. It was so fun to see them sing about the counties and the pioneers and indians who founded and settled Utah. After the program we went back to Mckayla;s class room for cookies and she got to pose for the camera with a few of her good friends. Natasha, Ainsley, and the top one is Mckayla and Makayla. We call her little Makayla so we don't get confused:) She had a great time in 4th grade I cant believe she will soon be a 5th grader.

EASTER 2011!!!

Man what an attractive bunch!!! Too bad I couldn't figure out how to set the timer on the camera so I could be in the picture too;) We had a busy couple of days between all the Easter eggs hunts, spending time with family, and hitting all the soccer games. We also managed to squeeze in a movie or two. We had an awesome Easter weekend and hope you all did too.

TAE KWON DO BELT TESTING 3-5-11

At the beginning of this month we had the privilege of going to Weber State University to watch Ryleigh, Ben and Mckayla complete their testing to move up to their next belts. I am so proud of all of them they worked really had to get it done. Ben and Mckayla especially worked hard they each passed off two belts and are now orange belts. Ryleigh who has been doing Tae Kwon Do the longest is now the proud owner of a purple little tiger belt. It was a long day from about 10:00 in the morning till 3:00 that afternoon but it was so fun to see all their progress. Thank you to all the family who came to support my family. And thank you to Mr. Hugh and Master Kim for all of their guidance and support.
